This book is about a girl who has cancer, her name is Hazel. Hazel doesn't just put aside her illness. She knows everything thats happening to her and she is on a drug that helps her tumors. Hazel doesn't have many friends except one from a support group. Her mom makes her go to support group because she thinks Hazel has depression "issues". Her friends' name is Isaac, and he has cancer in his eye. One day Isaac brought his best friend Agustus Waters. After support group that day Hazel and Agustus talk to each other while Isaac leaves to see his girlfriend. Agustus had cancer in his leg but then got his leg removed, so the cancer is gone. Hazel has this "obsession" over a book called, An Imperial Affliction. This book is about a girl with cancer, nd her thoughts. The part of the book that Hazel is upset with is that it ends in mid-sentance. Later Hazel shows this book to Agusus and he starts to love it also. They bond over that book and adventualy start to date. Agustus, knowing how much Hazel loves AIA, e-mails the author of that book, to eventually get two plane tickets to Amsterdam to meet the author. Agustus had never flown on a plane before so he thought it was incredible. They have a great dinner before their meeting with the author then comes the meeting. The meeting doesn't turn out how they expected it would, but I don't want to get into details. Much more happens, but I shouldn't tell. I would recommend this book too anyone 13 or up. This is a great book and really shows you how fragile the world and life is.

A great film bu the 2 main Actors. The young guy dies and he too as Cancer. So does his Girlfriend who ouy lives him. How ever sad. Its a wonderful heart felt film.

Nice to see a movie that the entire family can watch together and not have to worry about content being inappropriate for the kids. Young love, heartache and the sometimes cruel reality of life.
