Bought the Navy Heather last year and…
ImStillCharSC· Review provided by hanes.com · October 23, 2023
I have been wearing these sweatshirts both men’s and women’s for a few years now and although I usually buy men’s I like the women’s because it was shorter in the back for around the house. What I liked about the navy Heather is for some reason this fabric seems to repel food stains or anything that is accidentally dropped on it. If I got a brighter solid color I noticed that things showed up more yet with the navy Heather either they just didn’t sink in or else it washed out more easily just thought someone else might be interested in knowing that. Since I wear a lot of navy this navy Heather was just right to go along with most of my other casual sing around the house n yard clothes..

I’m real tall so always size up but this one hardly shrinks—usually I buy men’s in these kind of casual clothes
Love these EcoSmart Ladies Zip Sweatshirts!

So soft and the fit is perfect. The XL is not too big, not too small. I’m 5’8” and sometimes XL is cut too short but these are nice %26 long with great length in the sleeves. I can easily wear another long sleeve shirt/sweater underneath. The value on these sweatshirts is amazing. Since my sweatshirts are all worn out, I bought it in four colors for my gym visits. Way to go Hanes %26 Walmart!
women's = shorter waist/arm length than men's

The only purple I could find in a zip up hoodie came in women's sizes. I 'had' to have purple. :) The women's sleaves and waist are shorter, which I don't like. As a handcrafter myself, I will be able to extend the length to my liking, but not everyone can or wants to make their own alterations. Are womens' torsos and arms really that different in length than mens'? Or is it just me? Lol. The fabric is nice, soft, and the garment is of good quality otherwise. I'll always buy the men's sizes first because I like the fit better, unless I can't find the color I want in men's. More colors would be nice, please! :D

These are a medium weight which can keep you warm without a bulky coat. I often wear a cotton blend turtleneck. I also do this. I have always been energy conscious. Being aware of how much more energy we use for heat and hot water are two main ways in which you can reduce your carbon footprint! I am used to a house that has the thermostat turned to 65. My dogs begin to pant if it is too warm for them. I defer to them by donning extra layers to keep my self warm. I actually prefer it. Plus, they are my four best friends! That makes it worth it!
