November 21, 2024this blush has gotten so much hype, so i was honestly shocked that i didn’t fall in love with it. my main issue is to do with the shade, which is very subjective, so ill first explain what i think of the performance and formula. it is pretty matte, which personally didn’t sit very nicely on my skin, but it may work better if your skin is not dry. i will note that i have never had this issue with other matte cream blushes (i actually typically prefer them). however, it is long lasting because it is so matte. it blends out well and has a very nice level of pigment, so it is very user-friendly. it has a LOT of very large gold shimmer particles (that are not shown or mentioned ANYWHERE in the product images or product descriptions). i found the shimmer to be so glittery and chunky that it accentuated texture on my skin.
i decided to purchase this because they launched a limited edition shade (coquette) described by sephora as a “cool soft pink” and described by WA as a “peachy pink.” I have very fair skin, and so i was happy to see this shade because the others are too dark for me. they don’t have WA at my local sephora, so i ordered this online. when i received it, the blush looked way more warm toned and peachy than i expected, but it still looked like a promising shade. i was SHOCKED to see that when i blended it out on my skin it went from light peachy pink to a true orange with a hint of pink. i tried to just not blend it very much to prevent it from turning orange, but it stays way too intense and pigmented if i don’t actually blend it out a normal amount. it is way too orange to suit my skin tone, so i will have to return it because i will never be able to use it. i would have kept it despite not liking the formula if the shade was usable for me, but sadly it would just collect dust if i kept it.
If you have a truly pale skin tone, i highly suggest not buying this blush, specifically shade coquette. i can see how some people would like this blush if they fo

April 1, 2024The Baby Blush from Westman Atelier has impressed me with its layerable formula, evoking fond memories of using MAC’s Peaches blush. Given my skin’s aversion to pink hues, I naturally lean towards nude and peach shades, or a harmonious mix of both. I’m eagerly awaiting the “Peau de Peche” highlighter, hopeful it will not veer towards an overly orange tone, despite some reviews suggesting otherwise. Venturing into the realm of high-end makeup with Westman Atelier has proven to be a rewarding decision. As I’ve matured, the principle of “less is more” has resonated more deeply with me, leading me to embrace a subtle, elegant, and effortlessly natural look. While I’m captivated by the broader array of Westman Atelier’s offerings, I’m adopting a measured approach to incorporating them into my collection, even though much of my makeup arsenal has already transitioned to their products. My next step is to personally test their face products in-store, to ensure I select the perfect shades. The packaging didn’t disappoint.
Great product, just really pricey!

January 16, 2024I've generally been a bit afraid of makeup as it all seemed to be so full of pore-clogging ingredients, and aside from covering up blemishes it just didn't seem worth the risk...that is until I discovered brands like Westman Atelier that combine makeup and skincare! I love it!
I've only tried the shade petal so far, and it's just the most perfect natural looking flush that would work on most skin tones. It's just the right level of pigmented - not so pigmented that it's difficult to blend, and pigmented enough to have noticeable colour. It blends like a dream and has a very beautiful, natural looking satin finish. Not matte, but not shiny either.
Granted I haven't been wearing it every day, but I don't think this product has bothered my skin at all or broken me out. The packaging is also super nice and has a really luxe feel to it - it's heavy, and the magnetic lid is a nice touch. My one gripe is the price - it's just a lot of money for the amount of product. Is it SO much better than any other cream blush that you must absolutely pay the price for this one? No, it's definitely a luxury purchase. I'm not sure if I'll repurchase or not. I do really like that it's skincare oriented blush (which most aren't) and done well, but it is worth the premium for that? Idk.
Beautiful color, packaging, and formula!

August 11, 2024The color coquette is beautiful--I don't know why it is limited edition. I am not a fan of clean beauty, and I had purchased this in another color (petal) that ended up being warmer than expected, so I returned it. This is a beautiful, sophisticated formula and a beautiful color for fair, cool/neutral skin. I love the luxe magnetic packaging, and the color payoff is actually nice and buildable. It is not greasy at all, and it can be applied directly to the skin and blended out with my fingers. The only issue I have is that I have so much makeup that I'm afraid this will go bad before I finish it, and with it being a limited edition color, I can't even replace it, should I want to. This is the only color that appeals to me in the line, unfortunately. I think the people who say theirs smelled bad are right, such is the issue with clean beauty preservative systems, and I only got this because it was new stock. Mine smells fine (for now) - hopefully it stays that way for a while!
