March 6, 2024I did a lot of tire research to be sure I found a tire that has good tread wear ratings, low noise for the type of tire I was after. For how aggressive these tires are they feel like you’re floating on a cloud. The truck feels planted to the ground and I still get great gas mileage with my 2024 GMC Sierra AT4.
Now for the install. I am quite upset. I usually never have Walmart install my tires as I usually use a local shop. But this is my brand new truck and their road hazard plan sounded good the have so I opted for the higher priced install. Picked my truck up went home and parked the truck. Woke up the next day to check my truck out and to my surprise found scratches on my brand new 20” wheels. I’m frustrated as heck, but have a feeling I’ll be blamed and nothing will come out if.
Walmart asked for a review so here it is. Enjoy!

January 10, 2025I've used Nitto products for years. I always appreciate the durability and the tread wear life is amazing. I went from Mud grapplers to ridge grapplers. They are slightly quieter than the mud tires on the road. They are very smooth riding on my Tundra. I would highly recommend Nitto over Coopers or Toyo even though the cost is slightly higher. The Ridge grappler doesn't perform quite as good off road as the mud grappler but that was to be expected because it does perform better on pavement.
3rd round of same tires they have been great.

November 22, 2023This is the third round of Nitto Ridge Grappler's I have bought for my 5th Gen 4Runner. It's a daily driver. I get into off-road parks for a full day or two as time allows, maybe once every 3-4 months. Tires have been great off-road, rock-crawling, moderate mud, off-camber and steep inclines and mid-wheel height water crossings. You do need to be mindful in the rain as traction is a bit trickier on rain slicked roads, but nothing unmanageable by watching speeds and gas pedal. Performance for me has been great for what they are...a hybrid all-terrain, mud leaning tire. Snow has not been any challenge for me on these tires. Hard-packed snow/ice may be a different story but studded tires would be the only solution on that.

October 9, 2024The tires perform exceptionally well for rock crawling, mud, and sand. They also offer great traction on gravel roads, deep snow, and slush. I noticed that after driving 4,500 highway miles, the lifespan is impressive, as they still have visible tire nipples. Manufacturer recommends rotating the tires every 6,000 miles and checking the balance to maintain their performance. Great tires, highly recommend them.
